Emily Irene VanCamp was originally interested in becoming a dancer. However, after going to Katie's set in the Ladies Room, she became more attracted to acting. In parallel to taking acting lessons and acting lessons, VanCamp was offered a guest spot on a show that aired in Canada. She was a part of in a variety of shows, including in Are You Fearful Of the Dark? Radio Active and Dice. VanCamp achieved a major breakthrough when he was cast in the WB horror-mystery show Glory Days as Sam Dolan. Though the show garnered positive reviews, its low ratings caused it to be ended after nine short episodes. The May 12 1986 actress from the United States quickly secured a second part in Everwood as one of its principal actors Amy Abbott. The role earned her nominations for the Young Artist Award and four Teen Choice Awards.
